2021 Fender American Performer Stratocaster
Summary: A modern expression of the solid body electric guitar that started it all, Fender's American Performer Stratocaster delivers the latest in US-made quality and value. The American Performer Stratocaster delivers a massive tonal range. A trio of Fender Yosemite single-coil pickups — with flat-staggered pole pieces to increase output — serve up classic Strat spank and sparkle, infused with tons of sustain for soloing. A push-pull tone knob lets you add the neck pickup to any position, opening a huge, extended tonal range. The second tone pot engages Fender's Greasebucket master tone circuit, which rolls off highs without reducing gain. Not to be overshadowed by its innovative electronics, this American Performer Stratocaster features the outstanding comfort and playability you expect from an American made Stratocaster.
Body: Alder, double cutaway, Satin Lake Placid Blue polyurethane finish.
Neck: Maple with a maple fingerboard, black dot inlays, 1 11/16” nut width, 25.5” scale length, bolt on, 22 frets, fat headstock, modern “C” shape, satin finish on the back.
Pickups/Hardware: Three Yosemite single coil pickups, vintage style tuning keys, master volume knob, two tone knobs, 5-way pickup selector, pull/push tone knob, cream pickguard, cream knobs.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition with only signs of wear on the pickguard.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
