Summary: The new Les Paul Standard returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played and loved -- shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 50's has a solid mahogany body with a maple top, a rounded 50's-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stop bar tailpiece, vintage deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, and aged gold tophat knobs. The calibrated Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with AlNiCo II magnets, audio taper potentiometers and orange drop capacitors.

Body: Solid Mahogany with bound AAA flame Maple top.

Neck: Mahogany with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.714” nut width, pearl trapezoid inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Burstbucker pickups, keystone Gibson Deluxe tuning keys, ABR-1 bridge/stop bar tailpiece, two volume/two tone controls/3-way pickup selector, graph tech nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is great shape. There are few small dents and indentations on the top of the body that can seen in a reflection. The back has few light surface scratches. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape. There are a few light surface scratches on the face of the headstock from stinging the guitar.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
