2021 Gibson SG Standard '61 Maestro Vibrola
Summary: The SG Standard ‘61 Maestro Vibrola returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved -- shaping sound across generations and genres of music. As the name implies, the Gibson SG Standard '61 Maestro Vibrola adds vibrato capability to the SG Standard '61. The Maestro Vibrola offers smooth vibrato effects and the classic styling of the Lyre engraving on the tailpiece cover. Standard features include a SlimTaper mahogany neck and a bound rosewood fingerboard. The mahogany body features a deeply sculpted body scarfing, a 5-ply teardrop pickguard, and a 22nd-fret neck joint. The nickel-plated hardware includes a classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge and Keystone tuners in addition to the Maestro Vibrola Tailpiece. The pickups are 61R and 61T humbuckers for a classic voice with added power and top end. Controls feature audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, SlimTaper profile, 24.75" scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets, 1.69” nut width.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Burstbucker (61R/61T) humbuckers, 2 Volume, 2 Tone, Hand-wired with Orange Drop Capacitors, 3-Way pickup selector, ABR-1 bridge, Maestro Vibrola tailpiece, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys, black multi-ply pickguard.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has pick wear on the pickguard. Other than that, this guitar shows very little signs of use. It plays and sounds amazing.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
