2021 Guild Starfire VI
Summary: The Newark St. Series Starfire VI semi-hollowbody electric guitar offers the feel and style of a popular 1960’s icon with a touch of high-end class. The body is made from stunning AAA flamed maple. A pair of LB-1 "Little Bucker" pickups with their own tone and volume controls fine-tune your sound for a tone that is as distinct as the guitar's looks. And the Starfire VI offers the smooth bending and pitch control you'll only get from a great vibrato tailpiece.
Body: Flame Maple top/back/sides.
Neck: 3-Piece Maple/Walnut/Maple with an Ebony fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.675” nut width, 9.5” radius, 22 frets, vintage soft “U” profile, Mother-of-pearl/Abalone V-Block inlays, bone nut.
Pickups/Hardware: Two LB-1 “Little Bucker” humbucking pickups, 2 x pickup volume, 2 x tone, 1 x master volume, 3-way toggle pickup switch, Guild Tune-O-Matic bridge with Rosewood Base and Guild Vibrato Tailpiece, Grover Sta-Tite Die-cast tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This guitar has very light surface scratches and some very small indentations that can be seen in a reflection. The pickguard has regular wear. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar is in great shape, and it sounds amazing.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
