2021 Martin OME Cherry
Summary: Crafted entirely from FSC-certified woods, including a Sitka spruce top, cherry back and sides, a high-performance mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and an African blackwood headplate, the OME Cherry is Martin’s newest FSC guitar. This model includes gold open gear tuners and arrives stage ready with Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics so you can sound as good plugged in as you do unplugged. Body: Cherry back/sides, Sitka Spruce top, Finish: satin back/sides, gloss top.
Neck: Mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard, 25.4” scale length, 1 ¾” nut width, high-performance taper, modified low-oval shape, 16” radius, 2 5/32” string spacing, 20 total frets/14 open frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics, compensated white tusq saddle, bone nut, gold Butterbean open gear tuning keys, Mother-of-Pearl inlays.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. There is very light pick wear on the pickguard.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 12’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
