2023 Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Unburst

Summary: The new Les Paul Standard returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard '60s has a solid mahogany body with an AA figured maple top and a SlimTaper 60s-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic "Kidney" tuners, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors. The 60s Burstbucker pickups are loaded with Alnico 5 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors.

Body: Mahogany with a AA Figured Maple top in Unburst finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75 scale length,1.69” nut width, 22 frets,  Acrylic Trapezoids inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: 60s Burstbucker pickups, Grover Rotomatic with Kidney Button tuning keys, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Gold Top Hat with Silver Reflector & Dial Pointer knobs, Graph Tech nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
