Summary: The BR-160 has a solid Sitka spruce top and hand carved top braces that respect the prewar forward x-pattern. East Indian rosewood back and sides add a strong bass to the spruce top’s already full sound. The slim mahogany neck is comfortable and features a dovetail neck joint and adjustable truss rod. Beautiful appointments include a Dalmatian tortoise style pickguard and mother-of-pearl neck and headstock inlays.

Body: Solid Sitka Spruce top with East Indian Rosewood back/sides.

Neck: Mahogany with an East Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.679” nut width, 20 frets, abalone inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Open gear tuning keys, Dalmatian tortoise style pickguard, herringbone style binding, Rosewood bridge, bone nut/saddle.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. It has very light surface scratches throughout.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
