DeArmond X-155
Summary: The X-155 is a model from the hollow body series from DeArmond. The X-155 is based on vintage jazz boxes made by Gibson. The X-155 has a single-cutaway and has a maple top, back, and sides. The arched top has crème binding and carved with a pair of "f" holes. It comes equipped with two humbuckers and a bound Rosewood fingerboard with block pearl inlays.
Body: Maple top/back/sides.
Neck: Rosewood fingerboard, block pearl inlays, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 20 frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Two DeArmond gold foil style humbuckers, 2x volume/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector, 5-ply black pickguard, closed gear tuning keys, floating bridge with roller saddles, harp tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches throughout. The pickguard has regular wear. The back of the neck has a couple tiny scuffs. The frets are in great shape. The tuning keys have tarnished a bit. This guitar has low action, is very comfortable, and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of flat wound strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
