Fender Mustang 1972 Mustang Neck Parts-tang
Summary: This Fender Mustang has a sweet 1972 neck and a newer Fender Mustang body. Newer electronics complete this lil’ indie rock machine, or perhaps you’d rather go full John McLaughlin and gently jazz shred on this sublime piece.
Body: Wooden body in Blonde finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24” scale length, 1.5” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Seymour Duncan pickups, Fender tuning keys, Mustang bridge, black plastic knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches, dings and dents on the body. The back of the neck is has dings and dents, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Modifications: changed tuners, Seymour Duncan pickups, changed neck plate, newer electronics (pots, etc) -1972 Fender neck- newer Fender body
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
