Summary: Originally designed in the Fender Custom Shop by Jason Smith, the Fender Classic Player Rascal Bass is the short-scale bass you've been looking for! The compact alder body, C-shaped maple neck, and rosewood fretboard join together to create an extremely playable and fun bass. A trio of Seymour Duncan lipstick pickups provide a wide array of bass tones that will work for any gig. Body: Alder with Ocean Turquoise finish

Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 30” scale length, 1.65 ” nut width, 21 frets, white dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Seymour Duncan Lipstick pickups, 5-way switch with push/pull volume knob (seven pickup choices!), Guild Starfire bridge with barrel saddles, chrome knurled knobs.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape. It has a few light, small indentations on the body and a good ding. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
