First Act Volkswagen Garage Master
Summary: If you bought or leased a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, Rabbit, New Beetle or New Beetle Convertible you received a custom limited-edition First Act GarageMaster electric guitar. This First Act GarageMaster is a great player. Not only can you play it through your favorite amplifier, but it also has a built-in preamp allowing you to play it through your cars stereo system. These guitars were only produced in 2006 and are quite rare. It plays great and will be a great Volkswagen collector’s item in the future.
Body: Solid Poplar, double cutaway, white gloss finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, white dot inlays, bolt-on.
Pickups/Hardware: Two humbucking pickups, chrome hardware, 3-way pickup selector, two volume knobs/one tone knob, three per side tuning keys, car VIN number plate is on the back of the headstock.
Cosmetics: This guitar has light surface scratches throughout and regular wear on the pickguard. The screws around the pickguard, control plates, pickups, and bridge have rusted (See Photos Please). The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
