1983 G&L SC-3
Summary: The SC-3 was G&L's early answer to the Strat, and it has three G&L single coil pickups and their similarly excellent two-point bridge/vibrato. It has G&L’s solid construction, it’s comfortable, and it plays and sounds amazing.
Body: Alder with a 3-tone sunburst gloss finish.
Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1 9/16” nut width, black dot inlays,
Pickups/Hardware: Three G & L single coil pickups, G & L vintage style tuning keys, 2-point 6-saddle bridge, master volume/master tone controls/5-way pickup selector, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar has various nicks, dings, and scratches on the body. The fretboard has wear on the first 8 frets (See Photos Please). The back of the neck has a few dings but is still very comfortable. Overall, this guitar has some cosmetic issues, but it plays and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
