Godin 5th Avenue CW Kingpin II
Summary: The 5th Avenue CW Kingpin features a Cutaway body design and the added sounds of two Godin Kingpin P90 single-coil pickups, which deliver all that classic vintage tone with presence and clarity. With the soul of a 1950s archtop, the 5th Avenue is a true vintage spirit of yesterday with today’s level of modern playability. With more projection & volume in the lows and mids than traditional archtop acoustic guitars, the dynamically rich tone of the 5th Avenue makes this sophisticated instrument a dream to play.
Body: Canadian Wild Cherry back/sides/top, finished in a semi-gloss Cognac Burst.
Neck: Silver Leaf Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.84” scale length, 1.72” nut width, Graphtech nut, 21 frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Godin Kingpin P90 single coil pickups, Graphtech adjustable Tusq bridge, master volume/master tone controls, three-way pickup selector, Godin three per-side tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This guitar shows very little signs of use with just a bit of pick wear on the pickguard. The frets are in great shape and overall, this guitar plays great and is in excellent condition.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
