Gretsch G5422T Electromatic

Summary: The G5422TG Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Double-Cut with Bigsby and Gold Hardware features a laminated maple body with vintage-inspired perimeters and refined arches, as well as all-new trestle block bracing to help reduce unwanted feedback. By increasing rigidity and contact between the top and back of the body, the new trestle block design also results in the sound having a faster attack with more focus, snap, and increased sustain. Coupled with all-new FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups, this hollow build's voice explodes with a huge full-bodied punch, classic chime and enhanced presence, clarity and note definition.

Body: Maple in Walnut Stain finish.

Neck: Maple with a Laurel fingerboard, 24.6” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, pearl hump block inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: FT-5E Filter'Tron Humbuckers, Adjusto-Matic Bridge with Laurel base, Bigsby B60 Vibrato Tailpiece, open tuning keys, Graph Tech NuBone nut, gold knobs.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light surface scratches, only visible in reflection, on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
