Jackson Soloist SL3
Summary: The SL3 Soloist features Jackson's clean lines and highly functional setup, adding impressive touches such as a neck-through-body design for even more sustain, a classy compound radius ebony fingerboard, and a Floyd Rose Original tremolo. In addition to its maple neck and alder body, this axe also features three great-sounding pickups for huge tone.
Body: Alder with a gloss black finish.
Neck: Maple with an Ebony fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.6875” nut width, 24 frets, 12”-16” compound radius, Mother-of-pearl shark fin inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Floyd Rose Original double locking 2-point tremolo system, a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge position, and a Hot Rails in the middle and neck position. master volume/master tone/5-way pickup selector, black die cast fine tuning machines, chrome Jackson tuning machines.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light surface scratches as well. One screw on the backplate is missing, some pickup tape is torn, and there’s light corrosion on the bridge, none of which affects the sound or playability. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
