1960’s Kay Speed Demon Sunburst

Body: Laminate Maple body and Spruce top with Sunburst finish

Neck: Slim Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, 7.25” radius, 25.5” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 19 frets, circular pearl inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Three factory “road bump” pickups, non-original vintage tuning keys, tune-o-matic bridge with trapeze tailpiece, volume and tone knobs for each pickup, 4-way switch, missing the pick guard.

Modifications: This guitar has non-original tuning keys, added tune-o-matic bridge and the middle pickup was removed at one point and reinstalled.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good condition overall. It has light surface scratches on the top and back of the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show wear appropriate with age. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been set-up low and comfortable.

Case: This guitar ships without a case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
