Loar LO-18-VS
Summary: Combining the responsive bass and quick blues-y decay the L-00 small body is known for with the resonance and volume of a Solid Adirondack Spruce top. The thin V vintage neck profile is comfortable for so many playing styles, and the sunburst and top-bound guitar capture the style of the era. Unique black button Klusons finish the look, and the bone nut and saddle make the LO-18-VS a charmer right out of the case. It plays very well and sounds amazing.
Body: Spruce top, with Mahogany back and sides.
Neck: Mahogany with a Padauk fingerboard, 25” scale length, 1 3/4” nut width, 19 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Hardware: Kluson tuning keys, ebony bridge, bone nut and saddles.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
