Raven West Guitars S-Style
Summary: Raven West Guitars was formerly known as just Raven, a name that might be recognized by a few more people. Raven West Guitars are known for not only their features and playability but also because of the beautiful and energetic designs and craftsmanship of their models. This s-style Raven West guitar is made with quality tonewoods and the attention to detail is incredible. It has a fully bound rosewood fingerboard and a beautiful wood pickguard and back plate. It has three Wilkinson single coils that sing and a Wilkinson bridge that has great tuning stability.
Body: Solid double cutaway, s-style.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1 5/8” nut width, bird inlay on the 12th fret, dot markers on the top of the finger board.
Pickups/Hardware: Three Wilkinson single coils, master volume/two tone controls/5-way pickup selector, Grover tuning keys, 6-saddle Wilkinson tremolo system.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has a finish checking line on the face of the headstock (See Photos Please). The back of the neck has some light indentations. The screws on the bridge have started to rust a bit. The frets are in in excellent condition and plays and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
