Rickenbacker 4003S
Summary: Th updated Rickenbacker 4003S version comes with the improved dual truss rod system. Of course, the famous solid bass tones, ringing sustain, and treble punch Rickenbacker is known for make it a dream to play. Iconic curves of maple form the body with a traditional Rosewood fingerboard. Dot inlays and no binding make this stand out from the standard 4003.
Body: Maple with a gloss finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 33.25” scale length, 1 11?16” nut width, 10” radius, 20 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two single coil pickups, Rickenbacker open gear tuning keys, white pickguard, treble & bass volume/tone controls/push/pull on the treble tone control for vintage or standard tones, Rickenbacker tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This bass is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. There a couple very small indentations on the back of the neck that can be seen in a reflection.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
