1960s Silvertone/ Valco Lap Steel
This 1960s Silvertone/ Valco Lap Steel, with its string-through design has amazing sustain. The thick single-coil pickup provides a very clear output but it sings when you give it a little gain.
Body: Solid wood in Ebony finish.
Neck: Solid wood with a plastic fingerboard, 22.5” scale length, 2.25” nut width, amazing inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Original string through pickup, original tuning keys, original Valco bridge, plastic knobs, plastic nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
