2021 Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster

Summary: This 2021 Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster is an evolution of the original Fender model, engineered with a sealed semi-hollow body for minimized feedback and powered by dual Squier SQR active ceramic humbucking pickups for high-output tone. Player-friendly features include a slim, comfortable "C"-shaped neck profile with a fast-playing 12"-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a stop tailpiece for solid tuning stability. This Squier model also features a matching painted headstock contour, black chrome-plated hardware and a smooth satin neck finish for a natural feel.

Body: Laminated Maple in Ice Blue Metallic.

Neck:  Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length 1.65” nut width, 22 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Squier SQR Active Ceramic Humbucker pickups,  active electronics, die-cast sealed tuning keys,  6-Saddle adjustable bridge bridge, skirted amp knobs, synthetic bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light surface scratches and very small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
