Summary: This Takamine EG561C crafted with a spruce top, which imparts exceptional tone and responsiveness. The comfortable, slim FXC body style and cutaway is perfect for fingerstyle. A split bridge insures great intonation anywhere on the neck, and it comes complete with beautiful abalone rosette. It comes ready to plug in with a Takamine TK40 preamp.
Body: Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides in Black finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 21 frets, Abalone dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: TK40 preamp, Sealed Takamine tuning keys, Rosewood bridge with a compensated ivoroid saddle with an abalone rosette.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
