Summary: In the cult of Travis Bean, everyone knows the TB2000 bass. The fantastic top carves, and the very elegant shape designed by Marc McElwee. Over the past 16 years, Kevin Burkett has slowly tracked down the 7 bodies from the final revision of the bass. It’s a front-loading version that shares the same neck with the TB500 Bass. Once Kevin had the bodies, he drafted them and built the core of the bass working from the original body. There were only 7 of these front-loading bodies built, and 2 or 3 are all that were made available to the public as the rest of the bodies were already claimed. This is an extremely rare version of this bass, and it plays and sounds fantastic.
